Visit the impressive Corinth Canal and the ancient city of Corinth situated on the hilltop.

Go to Kifissia and walk through the shopping area. Admire the classical homes among beautiful gardens and walk to Kefalari, where you can have dinner in one of the many restaurants.

Changing of the Guards

Watch the changing of the Evzones guards (which occurs every hour, on the hour) in front of the tomb dedicated to the Unknown Soldier.

Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre is a modern cultural hub in Athens, housing the National Library of Greece and the Greek National Opera. Designed by architect Renzo Piano, the centre features state-of-the-art facilities, including a reading room with 360-degree views of Athens and the sea. The complex is surrounded by the Stavros Niarchos Park, offering green spaces, walking paths, and a variety of cultural jogging paths.
Jog towards the Panathinaiko Stadium, then cross the avenue to enter the Zappeion and the National Garden.

Philopapou Hill

Walk to the hill opposite the Acropolis and admire the breathtaking view. This area is not frequented by tourists.

Acropolis

Visit one of the wonders of the ancient world - which remains a wonder to this day. You can either purchase a ticket to the Acropolis site only or a ticket that gives you access to the following sites: Acropolis, Ancient Agora, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Theatre of Dionysos and Keramikos.

An oasis in the heart of the ancient city where you can admire a variety of historic buildings. This was the political, financial and religious centre of ancient Athens. Tip: This site hosted the European Summit in 2003.

Cape Sounio

Visit the temple of Poseidon at the southernmost tip of Attica and admire the breathtaking view. Tip: Don't miss the world-famous sunset.

Plaka

This is the heart of the old city of Athens. Walk through the narrow, pedestrianised streets. Tip: Do not miss a visit to the Anafiotika area.

Syntagma Square and the Parliament

Syntagma Square is the centre of the city and is within walking distance of the main shopping areas. The Parliament building is located directly opposite Syntagma Square. Tip: Buy a koulouri (circular bread with sesame seeds) from the street vendors.
